Hi, I am Marina and I am originally from Russia (not France!). I moved to Chicago to continue my education and I earned my PhD in Computer Science from UIC. Then I worked at Yeshiva University, NYC and then moved to San Diego. I was a member of CS department at first but them moved to Data Science and I am loving it! I am excited to be your instructor for this quarter and you are welcome to stop by just to chat :)

Hi, I’m Anastasiya! I am a second year studying Data Science. I’m really excited to tutor DSC 20 this quarter, because this class, although challenging, taught me a lot and I’ve been able to use the skills from this class on outside projects. Outside of class you will probably see me in the ceramics studio, reading or sight-seeing. Come to office hours, you won’t regret it!

Hello everyone! My name is Andy Truong, a 2nd year Data Science major at Seventh College, and I am from San Jose, California. Some fun facts about me are that I am a certified gym rat (you’ll probably see me at RIMAC), I like to play video games (grinded Overwatch over the break), and I like to listen to all sorts of music! I am very excited to be one of your tutors for the quarter, as this is my first time tutoring. Yo I’m Bryce, I’m a second year Computer Engineering major with a Psych minor from south bay area. In my productive free time, I work on random hardware/software ideas I find interesting, like LucidVR gloves, a Minecraft jukebox, and the style checker for this class. Outside of that, I watch tons of tech Youtube, and I’ve started learning to cook Indian dishes to impress my bay area friends. Looking forward to meeting everyone this quarter.
