I was born and raised in Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦. This is my first quarter at UCSD; prior to moving to San Diego, I was a student at UC Berkeley, where I also taught data science. Teaching you about data science is my dream job, and I could not be more excited to meet you all. I’m Harpreet, from New Delhi, India, pursuing MS in Computer Science at UCSD. I’m really excited to work as TA in DSC40A since the course content is very similar to my field of specialization i.e. AI and moreover I love managerial roles and positions and really like to interact with the different people - students, instructors, tutors etc. I’m a beach person which is one of my strong motivation for joining UCSD 😅 (Lol strong CSE department is the major motivation). I also like gymming and hiking.

Hi, my name is Jianming Geng, and I am from Shenzhen, China. I am a rising Junior; in the meantime, I am pursuing a degree in both data science and applied math. As a tutor for DSC40A, I am most excited about the learning experience as well as teaching interactions that will happen in this classroom. One of my fun facts is that I like to bite my fingers when in nerve.
